Historical review – Lazarus Handmade Furniture
Four generations of the Lazarus family have continued the tradition of Greek handmade furniture for more than a century.
It all started in 1898 with the small furniture shop opened by grandfather Michalis Lazarou in Monastiraki. This was the starting point of a unique creative path in the manufacture of handmade furniture.
Lazarus' handmade furniture revives the design of the original pieces that adorned the neoclassical houses of Athens, the island houses of the Aegean, and the traditional houses of Thessaloniki and Asia Minor.
